Project Description

For this new construction commercial project in Fort Myers we provided an irrigation system per plan, landscaping per plans, floratam sod per plan with bahia sod in retention areas.  We provided services at the building and at streetscape.

IRRIGATION SYSTEM INSTALLATION

R & R Sprinkler and Landscape was responsible for the installation of mainline from water source to supply the new irrigation system.  We provided almost 50 sprinkler heads, an automatic timer, a rain sensor and drip irrigation for the entire project.

LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION

We provided landscaping trees and plants as per quantity and specification of the architectural blueprints.  Some of the hardy plants and trees we provided were:  Sabal palms, Alexander palms, Live Oaks, Crape Myrtle, East Palatak Holly, Silver Buttonwoods, Ligustrum, Royal Palms, Walters Viburnum, Arbicola, Thryallis, Nora Grant Ixora, Silver Saw Palmetto, Wild Coffee, Indian Hawthorn, Cocoplums, Muhly Grass, Golden Creeper, Flax Lilly,  Parsonii Juniper, Fountain Grass and Xanadu. The entire project called for a Florimulch product against building, around trees and in islands.

SOD INSTALLATION

We provided a mixture of floratam and bahia sod on the project.  We recommended the bahia sod for the retention and wet areas.  We provided minor grading prior to laying the sod to ensure a smooth landscape so the sod would root properly.
